ESTHETICS PROGRAM

ESTHETICS CURRICULUM

At New England Center for Esthetics Education, the focus is on every aspect of skin care, including waxing, body treatments and makeup.

We offer two programs: the Introduction to Esthetics and the Esthetics Masters Program. These programs are available full-time days or part-time evenings. In addition to the lectures, theory and practical (or "hands-on") classes, working in the clinic is a valuable interactive education for our students.

We also offer individual classes to licensed estheticians who want training in specific areas of interest.

Clinical Practice

The clinic is integrated into the Esthetics Program after students receive sufficient classroom and practical training. Once students fulfill the prerequisites and are able to provide services to the public, under direct supervision of an esthetics instructor, they begin to experience the realities of salon and spa life. Our clients know our reputation for providing detail-oriented services in a supportive learning environment and they expect great service, home care education and follow-up. Students are able to hone their practical skills and new-found knowledge in this arena, and they also have the opportunity to expand upon their communication, customer service and work ethic skills.

Retail Sales

As phenomenal growth continues across all aspects of the beauty industry, the competition for the best positions becomes greater. At New England Center for Esthetics Education we know first-hand the tremendous positive impact of an employee who excels in product sales and the building of a loyal clientele. We are proud to have developed a full curriculum to equip students with the tools they need to build and retain a loyal clientele and maximize selling skin care products by educating clients about the benefits of a home care regimen. This curriculum is fully integrated into each program from the onset of a student's enrollment through to graduation.

We know that our students expect to pursue careers that generously reward their talent, their drive, and their skills. Training in retail sales and customer retention is essential to achieving those goals and will help our students prepare for what has become an important aspect of working in the industry.
