The New England Center for Cosmetology Education, (formerly Chameleons School of Hair Design), was founded by Michael Marvin in 1993. The New England Center for Esthetics Education, formerly Chameleons School of Esthetics, was established in 1999. There has been tremendous growth in both schools as the education systems expand to accommodate the needs of our growing student base. We are excited to announce the completion of the multi-phase expansion and renovation of both training centers.

The New England Center for Cosmetology Education and the New England Center for Esthetics Education are located in two adjacent buildings at 58 and 76 Pleasant Street in downtown Northampton, Massachusetts - the heart of the 5-College Area - in the Pioneer Valley. The schools are easily accessible from I-91, situated only one block from Main Street in the middle of the vibrant cultural, shopping and dining district. Conveniently located on Pleasant Street in downtown Northampton, the schools are only one block from the central downtown intersection of Main Street (Rte. 9) and Pleasant Street/King Street.

DIRECTIONS

From 91, take exit 18 for Northampton center and make a left at the end of the off-ramp (this is Pleasant St.) As you approach the downtown intersection, the schools will be on your righ. They are located in 2 adjacent buildings below street level.

PARKING

Limited on-street parking is available with a two hour time limit. Longer term and additional parking is available in the Northampton municipal lots and parking garage. PDF of Location/Parking/Map
